This machine is more suitable for longer lengths of tape windings on larger cores. Logroll having OD up to 250 mm wound on 76 ID cores can be sliced on this machine. The cutting blade is provided with different operational modes such as driven blade, free wheeling blade, locked blade and blade acting under brake action. All these modes are lever selectable type. The cutting action is hydro pneumatic enabling easy slicing even through the toughest materials. Micro controller and stepper motor driven ball screw mechanism are the heart of the machine. The cutting width and other parameters can be set on micro controller (PLC). This machine can cut various types of tapes such as PE, Fabric, Tissue, Foam, Polyester, Masking, Graphite, Paper and many more.
